Outback.......Outwit?

Here's a great way to get more meal for you hard earned $$. I have less fingers to count to as many times I have used this technique. I myself like my steak well done, or as my father-in-law says "put on the grill hours before and burned". People that don't order well done, you're on your own. Back to the story...your meal will come with a nicely prepared steak and a loaded potato on the side. Go ahead and rip into that skinned wonder and clean it up. Now that your plate has room to cut your steak, make that first incision. Guess what 99% of the time, that steak is not well done! First off it really does piss me off but it makes it that much sweeter when I call the waiter over and asked to have my steak cooked a little longer. As I sacrifice the next 10 minutes eating the rest of the appetizer I ordered and drinking my beer (and an occasion sneak off my wife's plate), they are fixin up my steak in the back. Probably have spit on it a few times but that is ok as I'm sure it's "burned" as somebody else puts it, my plate makes it way back out of the kitchen and neatly placed in front of my mug. I then cut into my steak so the waiter can go away. To my gleeful eyes next to my steak is a fully loaded potato!! I swear when it left the table that potato was devoured. So I wrestle up my fork and proceed to rip into potato #2! Yum Yum.

This blog was for my best buddy Chris as he watched and enjoyed the entertainment one night at the Outback or shall say Outwit?

I will remember this for the next time we get steak since we get it well done too!
