I am a believer in ladies first, hold the door for a lady and even in the last few years I open the car door for my wife. Something that I have noticed in public places, not all but most, that the restroom for the men is the first one you come to. Seems strange to me, is there an expectation that the ladies should walk further? Is there an expectation that ladies use the restroom less? I don't get it.
I would think that more ladies use the restroom and I know for a fact they take a longer time to do their business. With the logic of length of time, it seems more practical if the ladies room would be first. This way the man can waste some of the time he will be waiting anyways, by walking further both directions and it seems that a lady should not have to walk as far.
Pay attention to public places for this, you will see that the majority are set up this way. I am going to start swapping signs and see I can change this one restroom at a time.

I cannot believe that you thought of this....Okay, yes I can! I have this conversation all the time with people because it doesn't make sense to me why the women's restrooms are generally second! Since I seem to focus my attention to this "issue", I have only seen one women's restroom that came first so far! I was impressed! Thanks for taking notice to my silly yet stupid frustration with what I feel is chauvinistic planning!
It's hard to miss! How could I not notice my sister. You are so lucky to have me, lol. I'll take care of you and defend your silly yet stupid frustration.
