Buckle up all, 2008 will be a tough year. Economy is or should I say continue to be soft. Election years routinely bring a softer economy as consumer confidence drops considerably. What I struggle with this election year is of course the war is a mess and a pickle we have gotten ourselves into but also the confidence in the candidates we will have before us. There is the issue with having a female as a vote getter as well as the very likely possibility of the first black president. At sometime in our history this was going to happen and I feel privileged that it is happening in my lifetime. I am Republican but honestly I struggle with the Republican candidates right now, not sure I have confidence in any of them. McCain is my front runner from the R side. On the democratic side you really have to say Hillary and Obama are front runners and I am leaning to Obama, I think he is sensible, level headed and I think he may be the change we need. On record, what is this Ron Paul's problem? Did he not pass American History or Political Science in high school? He is lost and definitely out of the box and not sure if he knows where the box is. Where's Ross Perot, I need him!
To sum, be careful in 2008 and hang onto your $$, it's going to be a rough ride.
I still can't believe I like a Democrat, what is this world coming to...................
