Non-Blinkers Part II

Today I am going to complain about all those drivers out there that don't use their blinkers or if they do it is at the last minute.

Let me explain, we all have been in the situation of trying to pull out of a parking lot on a busy street and you finally get this gap but there is this one car moseying on down the roadway and really screwing up your "strategy". As they approach the exit where you are patiently sitting it "sorta" looks like they may turn but "maybe" they aren't. Ok, you know the situation by now I'm sure. So as 30 feet approach no magic beacon, 20 feet still nothing, 15 feet nothing, and BOOM it's like that 10 feet trigger goes off and now the enemy decides to use the blinker. Let me define blinker before we proceed:

1: one that blinks; especially : a light that flashes off and on (as for the directing of traffic or the coded signaling of messages)

oh you say it really is a "turn signal", definition is:

Turn: 2 a (1): to cause to change position by moving

Signal: 3: something (as a sound, gesture, or object) that conveys notice or warning

Now, that is cleared up. So putting on this warning device is really worthless to a person like me looking to enter into traffic and have probably missed an opportune time. What about the car behind this person, nice warning, 10 feet and boom turn. You know those are the same people that come to an almost dead stop before turning and move like molasses while navigating the turn.

If this is you, think about using the turn signal for what is intended to be used for. Signal the people behind you in fare time and the people that are waiting for your molasses ass to get to the turn.

side note, if you blinker is moving much faster than normal, one of your turn signals is out and get if fixed.
