Something I heard on the radio Thursday morning on the way to work left me speechless. The talk was about the rebate checks being issued by the IRS in a couple months. It turned to why Illegals get checks back? Well, get this. The IRS issues "Illegals" a tax ID# which they use when they file taxes, attached to their tax forms is their W2 which has a social security # attached. The IRS runs the social security # and knows it is illegal but since they have a tax ID# they are eligible for a return and in this case a kick back check.
So, with that why wouldn't the immigration department get a heads up that there is an illegal immigrant working and go pick them up. NOPE, not that easy, it is against privacy laws for the IRS to supply the immigration department personal information. You heard it right, one government office cannot communicate to another government office!
As always there are two sides to every coin. Even though they are illegal workers, they are filing taxes and the government is getting the tax money associated with the work performed so the IRS is just fine with that. Are you?

They should force them to go through the same process the legal immigrants went through. The honest ones should not be singled out. We have rules, follow them or get out.
There is our government hard at work........put a fence up on our nothern and souther borders and start escorting people out that don't belong here!!!
It is not the border issue with illegals in this country, it is our government who keeps giving our hard earned money and benefits to them. Stop giving them everything for nothing and they will deport themselves. We're a meal ticket!
The problem with that is they won't just leave before stealing and pilfering becomes rampant. What would you do, just leave? No you would do what you had to to survive. Going back is an endless future in a lot of cases.
We could go on forever with this discussion as there are so many issues that come into play. I will say that I know a lot of illegals and they wouldn't pilfer anything. We have enough of our legal citizens to do that. Corporate America is the biggest thief I know. When they get nothing from the government, they do return. If you are alone and without income, you will go back to your own country and surround yourself with the family you have left. A border will deter them but they will find a way to get into our homeland. Deny them work, medical, and food, they'll go back home. Our government has always provided for the worthless people, the squeaky wheel always gets greased and thanks to the idiot who has been running our country for the last eight years, things have gotten progressively worse, ie, NAFTA, CAFTA, and shall we not forget,
" No child left behind ". Only our children are left behind, uneducated, illiterate, no work ethic, or morals.

Were both right of course, lol! and yes we could go on and on. The bottom line of my blog is the ridiculous government crap that goes back and forth. One agency cannot pass along information to another to protect the privacy rights of someone not legally authorized to reside in this country. Rules are rules and people don't follow them but that is the way life is. Regarding the idiot comments the last 8 years, I was hearing the same from Republicans about the 8 years that Clinton served so it just depends on what political fence you sit on to determine that. Whomever is in office, 1/2 of America will think they are an idiot. Guess we could run for President to change it to a "non-idiot" government, huh? Thanks for comments, healthy conversation is good for all.

Thanks for reading, I love to find unusual things that happen in the real world or things that just tick me off. The way people think at times cracks me up but maybe it's me, lol! I am loving having someone come back on me on a few things, I really love to debate odd and meaningful issues.
Obama, I love his poise and charisma. I do need to educate myself with more detail in his track record but in my opinion he is breath of fresh air and this may be the first time I vote for a Democrat for President. For me it appears to be a process of elimination and I don't think the Republicans have much to offer unless we want to just keep going the same direction. Obama seems to have a good mix and really appeals to the young americans which are the future. How about you, Obama your pick?
I am proud to say I am for Obama all the way. I gained my respect for him in 2004. I feel a sense of hope and pride every time I think of Obama as President. I am not a partisan voter, I will vote for any party I feel will rightfully uphold the principals and do right by it's people. It is our house, our government and we need someone to always put us first. I believe Obama can bring out the best in this country again, make us the super power we always were before....and you know the rest of that line. lol
